Alan Boswell Selects Open GI to Accelerate Growth in 2011

 

Leading regional broker, Alan Boswell Group, has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Open GI in order to facilitate business expansion.

With over 25 years in the business, Alan Boswell Group is one of the UK’s leading regional insurance brokers, employing over 170 staff across four sites in East Anglia.  The Group, ranked by Insurance Age magazine as one of the UK’s Top 30 Independent Insurance Brokers, has selected Open GI to facilitate its planned internal business expansion.

The personal and commercial lines broker prides itself on maintaining long-term business relationships and puts recent growth down to the support of their long-standing clients. In recent years, the Group has extended the range of services it offers to include more specialist areas such as, risk management and employee benefits. As a result of strong demand, particularly for its specialist schemes, the Group is planning for further expansion in 2011.

The three year partnership agreement with Open GI will provide a bespoke development package that will be tailored to deliver additional functionality and developments as and when needed to meet the specific requirements of the business. The partnership deal also entails upgrading and increasing all of the Open GI licences to accommodate business growth and an expanding workforce.

Richard Hartley, Head of IT, Alan Boswell Group, said: “Over the past five years we’ve customised our Open GI system to closely fit existing business processes and integrated a wide range of other applications, ranging from document management to cheque printing solutions. These new enhancements will enable us to continue that valuable development, improving our workflow solutions for specific lines of the business, extending our bespoke scheme automation and increasing efficiency.”
