Leading broker solutions provider, Open GI, has appointed Bruce Strong to the newly created role of e-Commerce Customer Liaison Manager.
Bruce (pictured above) brings a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to the position, having worked at Open GI for more than 25 years in a number of roles, latterly Development Manager within the e-Commerce team. Previous responsibilities within the business have included back-office and integration product development.
The expansion of the e-Commerce team is in response to the growth of Open GI’s web development contracts, and recent launch of new e-commerce services. eXpress caters for brokers who wish to make small, regular changes to their websites through a dedicated team. Fast Track is for web savvy brokers to purchase an off the shelf, multi-branded solution which can be delivered within a period of weeks.
Bruce’s key responsibilities are to act as a focal point for e-commerce delivery and to provide pre-sales technical input. Commenting on the appointment, Sue Craig, Head of Software Development, said: “We understand that e-Commerce is a rapidly expanding area and by creating this role we hope to enhance the client experience. Our new e-commerce services are being well received by the customer base, and we have some exciting plans for the next couple of months.”
