O’Loughlin Insurance Group Tap into the Full Ability of Open GI

 

Long established, Dublin based broker O’Loughlin Insurance Group is the latest broker to simplify business processing by using Open GI technology.

The long established broker who was one of the first brokers in Ireland to install the original Open GI system over 20 years ago has been trading in the insurance market for over 25 years and specialise in commercial insurance and wealth management.

O’Loughlin Insurance Group were keen to streamline business processing in order to provide the most professional service possible to their commercial clients as well as increase internal business efficiency and so looked to Open GI to provide a range of solutions to impact these areas of the business.

By implementing Open GI productivity solutions, such as Open Attach and Open Word, O’Loughlin Insurance Group has been able to reduce storage costs as well as introduce the concept of a paperless office. In addition O’Loughlin now issue over 40% of documentation to clients electronically which has led to substantial cost savings.

O’Loughlin Insurance Group also now has full visibility of all client and prospect documentation on screen meaning faster and more efficient processing which saves time for both staff and clients. O’Loughlin’s clients will also benefit from the addition of Open Print Manager, a flexible print processing tool meaning documentation will be received sooner.

Derek Balfe, Director, O’Loughlin Insurance Group, said; “We are constantly trying to upgrade and improve our systems and documentation and are only now tapping into the full ability of the Open GI system.”

“We have been able to streamline our document issue and also increase the volume of documents that we issue electronically by using Open Attach and Open Word.  In addition we are able to save paper work by using Open Print Manager, where previously we would have had to print documents for a file.”
