Open GI Appoints new e-commerce Software Delivery Manager

Leading systems provider, Open GI, has strengthened its e-commerce operation with the appointment of Geoff Ainsworth to the newly created role of e-commerce Software Delivery Manager.

Geoff (pictured above) brings a wealth of general insurance experience and technical knowledge to this key position, previously managing a development team within a large multinational insurer. As Software Delivery Manager, Geoff will be responsible for assisting with the continued development of Open GI’s e-commerce strategy to ensure that solutions reflect the demands and needs of the broker market.

The expansion of the e-commerce team is in response to the rapid growth of Open GI’s web development contracts. Geoff and his team of 32 will control the delivery of e-commerce solutions, from analysis through to development and live support within the e-commerce channel, for both customer and strategic projects.
