Park Insurance Set for Expansion with Open GI

Specialist scheme broker, Park Insurance, has signed a five year deal with Open GI to expand its IT infrastructure and online presence.

The contract covers Park Insurance’s Bristol office and trading websites www.parkinsurance.co.uk and www.easy2insure.com, which are powered by Open GI’s online eQuote engines.

In order to improve efficiency and reduce costs, the company has opted for Open GI’s productivity solutions, alongside back-office technology to cater for schemes. Plans are also in place to expand its underwriting arm, Secure Underwriting, through the release of commercial insurance products on Open GI’ s Open Trader platform.

Park Insurance has recently branched out into television advertising in the South West and hopes to achieve further growth in 2010, particularly in the online market backed by Open GI’s expansive e-commerce portfolio.
