Leading Software House, Open GI has seen their online training facility, eTraining go from strength to strength since its launch in 2008.
Designed to bring the expertise of Open GI Trainers straight to the user’s desktop, eTraining enables brokers to develop their knowledge of the Open GI system and caters for individual training needs.
As well as interactive web based Training, Open GI continues to offer more traditional methods of training including on-site at client’s premises and at Open GI’s head office in Worcester. In the last year alone, 833 brokers were trained via Open GI’s eTraining service.
Feedback from customers who have participated in eTraining is positive as it saves time and money on essential system and “top-up” training, cuts out travel time to and from training venues and has shorter lead times, so customers get the training when and where they need it. An added benefit for bespoke eTraining sessions is that brokers can work through the course material at their own pace and when it is convenient.
To continually improve and develop training, the Open GI Training Team frequently update and review course content and materials to make sure they are in line with the needs of the Open GI user. Dedicated Open GI Trainers can answer questions immediately online and offer one-on-one support.
Newer productivity solutions from Open GI, such as Open Word, Open Print Manager and Open Attach have been the eTraining sessions of choice over the last 12 months. These training solutions have helped brokers with familiarising themselves with the software to aid workflow and productivity.
