MIDAS Underwriting selected Open GI as its new software supplier. Open GI now provides MIDAS with a complete IT solution integrating new business, underwriting, product development and back-office capability including claims loss control functionality, specifically designed to cater for MIDAS’ unique business model.

MIDAS entered the market in 2011 to underwrite a ‘niche’ range of insurance products within the UK broker market, specifically catering for non-standard risks coupled with full cycle EDI integration. MIDAS was acquired by Direct Group in April 2016.
