Worcester-based insurance solutions front-runner, Open GI, has been named one of the Top 50 privately owned, mid-market technology businesses in the UK at the inaugural Megabuyte50 Awards.

The Megabuyte50 Awards, which took place on Wednesday 25 February at Rothschild, London, highlights the best financially performing, privately-owned technology companies in the mid-market with results compiled by Megabuyte’s dedicated research team.

With over 30 years’ expertise, Open GI is the leading technology partner to general insurance brokers across the UK and Ireland and is part of the Open International Group – the parent company of PowerPlace, Open GI London and Blue Fire Communications.

Founded in 2007, Megabuyte is a subscriber-only, online business development platform that enables users to identify, understand and engage with the UK’s leading technology companies. Following significant growth since their existence, they are now regarded as a ‘go-to’ source of market intelligence for the IT service, software and telecoms industry.

Chris Guillaume, Group CEO, added:

“We are extremely proud to have been selected as one of the Top 50 winners of this prominent award. The Megabuyte50 Awards identifies the top tech companies in the UK and as such provides an influential benchmark to our competitors. The announcement demonstrates the hard work and dedication involved to continually drive success.”
