The deal, which will run until 2019, sees Academy Insurance utilising various solutions that will assist in improving the quality of risks, with enhanced client screening, and increased business efficiencies.
In addition to Academy’s existing portfolio, the broker will be armed with additional technologies such as Open Address Look-Up, Sanctions Checking and Open Client Check – Open GI’s risk validation software which runs an automatic series of checks to third party providers, including Experian.
Dave Bard, Chairman, Academy Insurance Services Ltd, said:
“The technology and expertise that Open GI provides is a key business enabler for Academy Insurance. We’ve been able to tailor the Open GI system to fit our own business requirements which will further improve our overall service.”
Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, commented:
“We are delighted to have Academy Insurance commit to this five-year partnership and look forward to continuing a strong working relationship over the coming years. We continue to invest heavily in the research and development of new products and are confident that Academy Insurance will benefit from this.”
