User Group marks anniversary with Members Day
Independent broker body, the Open GI User Group is this year celebrating its 30th anniversary. As part of its continued support to the broker community the Group recently held a Members Day which saw 34 brokers attend a range of training sessions and participate in a series of interactive presentations.
Commenting on the event, Acting Chair Jonathan Lyth, JCB Insurance Brokers, said:
“This is a special year for the Open GI User Group. The work we undertake allows our members to be kept up-to-date with developments in the industry as well remaining informed in relation to the technology provided by Open GI. Events such as the Members Day are both popular and informative.”
Alongside Open GI and PowerPlace, speakers at the event included leading brands UKGI, Alphatec Software and KPMG who discussed the impact of the regulatory body, increasing profitability, and identity and access management. The day also gave members an opportunity to take advantage of Open GI’s Add-on Marketplace platform; a comparative, integrated platform which provides full quote, offer and acceptance at point of sale on a wide range of add-on products.
Open GI Sales and Marketing Director, Simon Hughes, added:
“The impartial perspective that the User Group provides is critical to ensuring Open GI serves the industry with the best forward-thinking technologies. The Members Day is an ideal opportunity for Open GI to engage with our brokers in a two-way process so we can deliver a superlative service to our clients.”
