Open-I

All PC Workstations are subject to a minimum specification in line with the published Microsoft Operating System product lifecycle (Mainstream), excludes non-business use editions (e.g. Home, emerging markets etc.). For optimal experience, it is recommended that screen resolution is set to 1024×768 or higher. Performance across remote links cannot be guaranteed.

Over a 3rd party VPN: Stateful inspection should be switched off on local port 2061 (from the site where the Server is situated) across the VPN routers. This will allow Winlink / Open-I to function without problems.

Active Quote

Active Quote: Active Quote may be used in conjunction with both EDI and non-EDI policies. To convert to live any non-EDI policy where Active Quote has been used to perform any action (e.g. premium adjustment etc.) then an Active Quote non-EDI Processing Unit must be present. Active Quote non-EDI Processing units are subject to advance purchase.

Vehicle Index Lookup / Sanctions Checking / Active Quote: Vehicle Index Lookup / Sanctions Checking and Active Quote can be configured on a Server only. If an authentication proxy is utilised for internet access, a username and password must be specified to Open GI. The password must be set to never expire. Failure to do this may result in additional services being contracted for.

Active Quote Rules: The maximum number of Active Quote and Active Quote PowerPlace rules that are supported across all scheme groups is 300.

Active Quote: An Active Quote Order Form is required for each eBroker/Digital Elements Site.

Active Quote – rule creation: Open GI accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss against rules created during this session. All rules must be tested in UAT and signed off prior to promotion to the Live environment.

Broker Enrichment

SMS Back Office / Open Client Check / Broker Enrichment can be configured on an MLS only. If an authentication proxy is utilised for internet access, a username and password must be specified to Open GI. The password must be set to never expire. Failure to do this may result in additional services being contracted for. Calc functionality in SMS Back Office is dependent on Create Diary facility.

Calculations

Overnight Renewal Printing: The Order Form must be returned with a signed Requirements Acceptance form contained within the relevant specification. Running this application requires the latest version of EDI 1.00M +. Currently only available for BikeWriter, TruckWriter and MotorWriter.

CreditLine Plus

CreditLine Plus Continuous Authority: Should assistance be required with Frame Calculations for CreditLine Plus Continuous Authority, then Development Consultancy is included in this Order Form. Continuous Authority supports both silent and Active modes.

Hosted InStream

Hosted InStream/xStream: Hosted InStream/xStream requires a continuous connection to the Open GI Hosted site, therefore the client’s firewall must be configured to allow the Core Back Office system to access the internet via a secure HTTPS connection.

Hosted xStream

Open xStream / Document Centre integration: If PDF/printing functionality is required, Open Document Centre must also be present. Remote Configuration will be required, half a day of Technical Consultancy is provided within this Order Form for configuration. Should additional configuration work be required, it must be Order Formed for in addition at full cost.

Hosted InStream/xStream: Hosted InStream/xStream requires a continuous connection to the Open GI Hosted site, therefore the client’s firewall must be configured to allow the Core Back Office system to access the internet via a secure HTTPS connection.

Open GI reserve the right to charge an additional transaction fee in lieu of Premium Finance, EDI or other regular transactional income from components that may be replaced by the use of xStream.

OpenR

OpenR is dependent on OpenWord and can only be installed when OpenWord has been installed.

PowerPlace complex – Openword and OpenR: PowerPlace Complex can only be installed when OpenWord and OpenR are already installed. Enhanced Security is also a pre-requisite for PowerPlace Complex, to be configured by the customer (Training recommended if not previously contracted and taken).

OpenWord

OpenWord and OpenAttach: OpenWord and OpenAttach has been tested with Windows server 2003 Terminal Server and Windows Vista Business (32-bit versions only) / Ultimate (32-bit versions only) using MS Word 2007 and MS Word 2010. Microsoft Word is required for OpenWord to function and is recommended for use with OpenAttach. OpenWord and OpenAttach performance will not be guaranteed on any other platform and will only be installed on a reasonable endeavours basis. Installation of OpenAttach is subject to full Microsoft Word / Excel components of MS Office (not Works, etc.) being pre-installed.  Documents are saved via OpenAttach to a central file storage. It is recommended that this file storage is on a PC or File Server that is dedicated to ‘Server’ functions and is not in use for Windows applications (such as Office). Use of a PC not dedicated to ‘Server’ tasks may give a perceived performance problem both to its user and users saving files to or retrieving from that PC. OpenAttach will only be supported at remote sites as long as access to the document store is held locally at the remote site, or a terminal server is deployed to permit centralised storage at the main site. Only occasional access to retrieve documents from a non-localised store is recommended. Once installed, it is not possible to regress from OpenAttach to a previous version of SmartConnect.

PowerPlace complex – OpenWord and OpenR: PowerPlace Complex can only be installed when OpenWord and OpenR are already installed. Enhanced Security is also a pre-requisite for PowerPlace Complex, to be configured by the customer (Training recommended if not previously contracted and taken).

Open Workflow Manager

Users must have been trained in the Open GI Calculations Language (by attending the Calculating Frames Course), have first-hand experience of using the language and must also have attended the Scheme Toolkit Course and Extended Task Flow Consultancy if these elements are to be used with OWM.

Open Renewal Portal

Open Renewal Portal is dependent on Core Back Office Release 14.40 or higher. Open Renewal Portal will utilise transactional units for each renewal offer uploaded to the portal and for each renewal accepted and converted to the back office. All units must be contracted for separately in advance.

Sanctions Checking

Failure to do this may result in additional services being contracted for.

Sanctions Checking units: For each Individual Sanctions Check a unit will be utilised. When all existing units are exhausted then additional blocks of Sanctions Checking units will need to be purchased.

Sanctions Checking Batch Processing: Batch Processing can set to run overnight or at specific points in the day and must be contracted for in advance.

Sanctions Batch Run: When performing a Batch Run, the process must be set to continue checking a set amount of records each night until the Batch Process has completed. Due to overnight processing, the availability of server time to check records must be taken into account when setting the number of records to check each night. Open GI Will continue to monitor the network usage and reserve the right to implement a maximum number of client record checks per evening.

Sanctions Checking – unit type: Sanctions checking module supports either Client or Commercial. The correct unit type must be purchased for each activity, units are non-transferable between categories.

SMS

SMS Back Office: Calc functionality in SMS Back Office is dependent on Create Diary facility.

Vehicle Index Lookup

Vehicle Index Lookup sources data via Carweb. Open GI cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies of data retrieved.

OGI Commercial

PowerPlace complex – OpenWord and OpenR: PowerPlace Complex can only be installed when OpenWord and OpenR are already installed. Enhanced Security is also a pre-requisite for PowerPlace Complex, to be configured by the customer (Training recommended if not previously contracted and taken).

PowerPlace Complex Licence: The PowerPlace Complex licence does not grant access to PowerPlace SME or Micro products. Appropriate PowerPlace SME/Micro licences must be contracted for separately. Open GI will install Open Trader server software in respect of this Order Form. The Order Form must be returned with a PowerPlace Registration Form.

PowerPlace Complex: Existing knowledge and skills using OpenWord may be required to amend and maintain any documentation being produced. Training for OpenWord (Essentials) and Advanced is recommended and should be considered in order to be able to take full advantage of the product.

Use of PowerPlace: Open GI will install PowerPlace server software in respect of this Order Form. For Use of either PowerPlace Micro, SME or Complex the relevant registration forms must be returned with the order. Access to any PowerPlace Micro product is, however, specifically excluded unless the client has in place a signed and approved, Terms of Business Agreement with PowerPlace.

Online MTA

Online MTAs: Open Document Centre is required to facilitate Online Renewals and must be contracted for in addition if the broker does not currently have licenced access to the product. Online MTAs will accept permanent amendments only such as Change of Vehicle, Change in Driver details, Change of Address or Change of Cover. It specifically excludes notification of modifications and illness/disability updates. Online MTA is a generic platform.  Any changes required are subject to separate assessment, agreement, Order Form and timescales.

Online MTAs Motor: Online MTA’s Motor is dependent on Core Back Office Release 15.10, CreditLine 4.30A and Premium Finance 2.30A or higher. Online MTA’s Motor will utilise transaction units at the point the MTA is accepted and is applied to the policy record in the back office. All units must be contracted for separately in advance. Units are business line specific and are non-transferrable between product lines.

Open Address Lookup

Open Address Lookup can only be configured on a Server. If an authentication proxy is utilised for internet access, a username and password must be specified to Open GI. The password must be set to never expire. Failure to do this may result in additional services being contracted for.

OpenAttach

OpenWord and OpenAttach have been tested with Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server and Windows Vista Business (32-bit versions only) / Ultimate (32-bit versions only) using MS Word 2007 and MS Word 2010. OpenAttach Email must be hosted within Open GI’s Exchange Online service in order for OpenAttach to be fully supported. Email hosted locally will not function with OpenAttach and is therefore unsupported. If an alternative hosted e-mail service is used such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide the necessary connectivity settings and any support for this will be based on reasonable endeavours.

Open Claims Portal

Open Claims Portal will utilise transactional units for each claim notification to the portal. All units must be ordered separately in advance. The broker must have a test branch in place.

Open Client Check

For clients to utilise Experian ID check through Open Client Check, or Experian iCache service, this Order Form must be accompanied with an Experian End User Agreement.

SMS Back Office / Open Client Check / Broker Enrichment can be configured on an MLS only. If an authentication proxy is utilised for internet access, a username and password must be specified to Open GI. The password must be set to never expire. Failure to do this may result in additional services being contracted for. Calc functionality in SMS Back Office is dependant on Create Diary facility.

Open Client Check / Broker Enrichment Integration: For integrations with the following third parties; IIL for CUE Checking, GB Group for ID Checking, Synectics for fraud checking and Experian iCache, licencing of the product by Open GI does not guarantee use of service. Brokers must have a third-party agreement in place in order to use the service.

Open Payment Portal

Open Payments Portal will utilise transactional units for each Uploaded payment request to the portal and each payment acceptance to the portal. All units must be ordered separately in advance. The broker must have a test branch in place.

InfoCentre Plus

InfoCentre Plus sample reports: The sample reports presented with InfoCentre Plus are best viewed in either Excel 2007 or 2010 and are for illustration purposes only and wholly unsupported by Open GI.

InfoCentre Plus Upgrade: Open GI are not responsible for any migration of webservice calls, stored procedures or views and tables as part of the upgrade process. The previous InfoCentre database will be left unchanged.  It is the responsibility of the customer to remove when appropriate.

Bespoke Reports: Open GI are not responsible for migration of any bespoke reports and it is the responsibility of the customer to fully test these prior to implementation.

In order to add support for EDI data in the InfoCentre Plus database a Bulk-Insert procedure will need to be conducted. This may temporarily affect system performance during business hours. The Inclusion of the additional database will likely increase the size of the InfoCentre database bandwidth requirements for updating the ICP database. It is the client’s responsibility to check that communication links are correctly sized, sufficient database storage has been provisioned and adequate software licences are installed for database platform software to cope with this additional data requirement. This should be done before installation of the product.

EDI Data Supplement for InfoCentre Plus covers MotorWriter only. Deployment requires Core version 15.82 or higher, System Extension version X2.89A/25 or higher and integrated products version 5.82.00 or higher.

Infocentre Plus Dashboards: Microsoft Office will be required for use of Infocentre Plus Dashboards. Office product must be inline with Microsoft’s support programme. Use of Dashboards will require the Open GI Back Office software to be running on the latest Open GI software versions.

Open Document Centre

Microsoft Support: All PC Workstations are subject to a minimum specification in line with the published Microsoft Operating System product lifecycle (Mainstream), excludes non-business use editions (e.g. Home, emerging markets etc.). Performance across remote links cannot be guaranteed.

ODC install: Open Document Centre can only be installed on 32-bit Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 operating systems (standard edition or above).

Open xStream / Document Centre integration: If PDF/printing functionality is required, Open Document Centre must also be present. Remote Configuration will be required, half a day of Technical Consultancy is provided within this Order Form for configuration. Should additional configuration work be required, it must be Order Formed for in addition at full cost.

Open Print Manager

Microsoft Support: All PC Workstations are subject to a minimum specification in line with the published Microsoft Operating System product lifecycle (Mainstream), excludes non-business use editions (e.g. Home, emerging markets etc.). Performance across remote links cannot be guaranteed.

Open Document Download

Open Document Portal / Open Document Download responsibility: It is the responsibility of the customer to moderate content of uploaded files. Open GI accept no liability whatsoever for the content of files stored within the solution.

Open Document Portal / Open Document Download fair usage: Open GI reserve the right to apply fair usage policy to ensure quality of service for all customers.

Open Document Download/Open Document Portal: The client’s firewall must be configured to allow the Core Back Office system to access the internet via a secure HTTPS connection. Open Document Download and Open Document Portal rely on the Customer Portal Uploader. This will be loaded on the Open GI Core system but if performance issues occur due to load, the customer will need to provide a separate server capable of running the portal uploader.

CL+ CR/Dev: All CreditLine Plus Development days or change requests need to be accompanied by a description of the work to take place from UPG along with confirmation of the effort involved (unless it’s for AVS for less than 8 accounts). For AVS requests, up to 8 SH accounts can be activated / de-activated for AVS within a 1 hour charge. Please clearly detail the SH Account number(s) on the Order Form that require AVS activation / de-activation.

Open Document Portal

Open Document Portal Licence: No backups are performed of documentation stored within this solution as standard. In the event of any data loss (file corruption, physical failure) it is the customer’s responsibility to re-upload files. Open GI accept no liability for data loss. Open Document Portal Back Up must be contracted for in addition if required.

Open Document Portal / Open Document Download responsibility: It is the responsibility of the customer to moderate content of uploaded files. Open GI accept no liability whatsoever for the content of files stored within the solution.

Open Document Portal storage quota: In the event that the contracted for storage quota is reached, the customer acknowledges that they will need to either purge existing documents or Order Form for additional storage.

Open Document Portal – Back-up: Daily back-ups stored on ODP storage will be kept for a maximum of 30 days only.

Open Document Download/Open Document Portal: The client’s firewall must be configured to allow the Core Back Office system to access the internet via a secure HTTPS connection. Open Document Download and Open Document Portal rely on the Customer Portal Uploader.  This will be loaded on the Open GI Core system but if performance issues occur due to load, the customer will need to provide a separate server capable of running the portal uploader.
