Charity and Community
We are proud of how passionate our employees are about their local communities. And we recognise that doing well as a company means doing good in the world. We don’t just want to do it for us. We want to make sure we have a positive impact in our communities too.
So, each and every year, we fundraise for employee-chosen local charities. We donate to vital foodbanks, we sponsor local sports teams, take part in community events and national events such as Race for Life and various marathons, such as the London Marathon. Our employees are also enabled to volunteer their help and support to these charities in special away days.
Who are we supporting for 2023?
Worcester – Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter
Formed in 1983, Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter provides urgent care to abandoned, unwanted and mistreated animals. The charity’s main aims are to give shelter, medical treatment and care, and, of course, to re-home cats, dogs and ex-battery hens. Support is vital for the charity to meet running costs and, most importantly, the welfare needs of the animals in their care.
Winchester – Winchester Hospice
Winchester Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care to adults with life-limiting illness. It is part of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is led by the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s palliative care team who see first-hand how important it is to have a local hospice facility for the people of Winchester.
