Extranet Migration: PowerPlace must be informed in advance of the migration to advise the relocation of data for configuration of the destination back office and Open Trader systems.
Technical Support Analyst: It is recommended that a Technical Support Analyst is contracted to be on remote stand-by when the data transfer is loaded onto the customer’s server. Support will however be restricted to dealing with software issues when loading CD and/or tapes and restoring the system to its previous back-up should the data migration exercise be aborted. Hardware support is excluded.
Data Migration: Should the Data Transfer not be required after the initial and subsequent tests, the Order Form price will still be applicable. In the event that the data has been loaded onto the Core Back Office system, and retrieval or deletion of the data is required, then additional services must be contracted for. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they hold legal title to the data being transferred prior to the transfer taking place. Open GI will not be held responsible in the event of any dispute of ownership over the data.
PowerPlace Notice: Adequate notice must be provided to PowerPlace (if appropriate) by the customer when transferring data.
Data Migration PowerPlace Agreement: To effect Data Transfer services where Open Trader records are involved, the destination core system must have an agreement in place with PowerPlace (if appropriate) and the software must be installed on the system before the services can be run.
Data Migration synchronisation: There are restrictions on when the data migration synchronisation can occur and will be discussed with the customer post-contract.
Data Migration – Custom Quote: For brokers requiring a Core to Core Data Migration where Custom Quote is in use, a separate Specification and Investigation is required to establish effort and cost involved to migrate the Custom Quote data.
